Neal Murakami, CPA

VP Finance & Comptroller

Neal Murakami serves as the Vice President of Finance and Comptroller for Virion Therapeutics, LLC. Neal has over 25 years of accounting, finance and audit experience within the life sciences and technology industries ranging from established companies to start-up organizations. He has previously led the accounting departments of Tethys Biosciences and Guava Technologies, as well as serving as Vice President and Controller for Moerae Matrix, Inc, a biotechnology company developing novel anti-fibrotic and anti-inflammatory peptide-based therapies. Neal holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting emphasis) from California State University, Hayward.
